About my experience with PRBULLDOG
I completed this internship in Spring 2023. In this position, I worked directly with the company’s CEO to serve clients, including:
- Cox Communications,
- Fennemore Law,
- Courtesy Automotive,
- Optum—Arizona,
- Lamber Goodnow Injury Law Team
- and Polestar Scottsdale.
My day-to-day responsibilities included research, media monitoring, pitching media, creating media advisories & press releases, updating agency media lists, managing agency socials and more.
Media relations was a significant part of this role, and I gained experience building relationships with local media to earn coverage for our clients. One significant example of this was a task I had to ensure media coverage of client Courtesy Automotive giving back to a local elementary school in its community. Prior to the event, I pitched local television stations and performed call-downs the morning of. At the event, I ensured that the members of the media that were present had the shots and interviews they needed for their segments. I also ensured that mentions of our client were included in the media coverage. In total, this event received coverage from Fox 10 Phoenix and Telemundo Arizona, with coverage from the Arizona Republic pending.
